Writing with Spreadsheets

Sorry for not posting in a while; I’ve been busy writing things, such as a worldbuilding document (7600+ words!) and a plot outline in Excel. It’s nanowrimo time anyway, so why not? :D

Creating plot outlines in Excel is fast and easy for me, and I can easily keep track of where the characters are and where they’ll be going. There’s a column in it where I list the dungeon that involves a given chapter, and it looks like this:

Plot events that don’t involve a dungeon, like when the party has to wander around town to find something, get an N/A. By keeping the N/A count low, filler should be minimized and the game’s pace should be faster. Personally, I hate filler bullshit…
